Completed abstracts should be emailed to weegesr[at] Emails should include the name and affiliation of the presenter and the type of contribution (oral / poster) being applied for. Those eligible (PhD students and postdocs < 12 months experience post PhD only) should indicate when submitting their abstract if they wish to be considered for a JEOL prize talk, and should state the year they began their PhD research and their supervisor, to enable eligibility to be confirmed.

Photographs may be taken at the event and used in conference reports, to publicize future meetings and on this website. If you do not wish your photograph to be used in these ways please inform the local organizing team on arrival and do not participate in the traditional conference group photograph. Accepted abstracts will be collated in the abstract booklet made available to all participants and downloadable through this website. By submitting your abstract you are consenting to distribution of your abstract to other conference participants in this manner. If you have any queries about privacy and the use of your personal data please contact the committee.
