Wine Receptions and Conference Banquet
There will be three evening drinks receptions during the course of the week, kindly sponsored by the ESR group of the RSC (Sunday evening), Jeol (Monday evening) and Bruker (Tuesday evening). The Sunday reception will be held in Chancellors Hotel and Conference Centre.

Conference Excursion
Following the tradition of our conferences, Tuesday afternoon will be free from lectures (the Bruker lecture will be scheduled in the evening). The delegates are invited to explore Manchester's many attractions, and we recommend in particular the Museum of Science and Industry. As in most British museums these days, the entry is free of charge.
