There are two ways to keep in touch with the group:

Interest Group Membership

If you are a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry please join the ESR Spectroscopy Group. This helps to support the group and means that you will receive important mailings from the ESR Group secretary who is able to obtain contact details for current group members from the secure centrally managed RSC membership database. All RSC members are eligible to join three interest groups for free. To join either tick the relevant box on your annual membership renewal paperwork or contact the RSC membership department as detailed on their page here. You must be a member of the interest group to vote in elections of committee members which following RSC policy will now be managed by the RSC networks team using an electronic voting system.

Mail List

As of April 2018 the RSC ESR group webmaster now manages a JISCM@il list RSC-ESR-GROUP@JISCMAIL.AC.UK. Please click here to subscribe to the list if you would like to receive announcements about our future conferences and calls for entries for the Bruker thesis and JEOL lecture competitions.
Membership of this list is open to all regardless of whether you are a member of the RSC ESR group, and allows us to keep in touch with you without directly holding your personal details which would be difficult to achieve whilst complying with the relevant data protection rules (GDPR). You are able to unsubscribe from this list at any time using the link on the bottom of the emails. The JISCM@il policy document governing use of the list can be found here. The list may also be used for more general discussion of topics relevant to the ESR community, for example advertisement of job / PhD opportunities – messages for posting should be emailed directly to the list RSC-ESR-GROUP@JISCMAIL.AC.UK and the message will be sent to a moderator for approval.

Newsletters

The group also publishes an annual newsletter or conference report which is distributed to group members and will be advertised via the mail list. The archive of newsletters is available here.
